Two payments in a year

PhilHealth's payment schedule for YAKAP is set out in Circular 2024-0013 and its Annex I. In simple terms, a clinic is paid in two parts. The first payment is tied to the patients whose first visit PhilHealth has accepted. The second payment comes after the year ends and depends on how complete the patients' records are. Official names for these are Tranche 1 and Tranche 2, and the payment runs are called SAP1 and SAP2.

02

The two cutoffs

First visits close on the 7th of the following month. Consultations close at the yearly second-payment cutoff. Check the circular for the current dates and any change PhilHealth has announced, because the schedule belongs to PhilHealth and can be updated.

03

What happens if you miss one

A first visit sent after its cutoff rolls into the next payment run. Nothing is lost, but the payment comes later than it could have. A consultation sent after the yearly cutoff may not count for the second payment. That difference is the reason to keep the unsent list short all year instead of cleaning it up in one rush near the end.

04

Estimating without guessing

SugboDoc includes a payment estimate so a clinic can plan. You can try what-if numbers, such as a different number of patients or a different completion level for the second payment. The estimate is a planning aid. It is not a promise, and PhilHealth's own figures are final. SugboDoc cannot guarantee payment.

Seeing it coming

The deadline calendar shows a month of unsent visits with a countdown to each cutoff. Colours are always paired with an icon and a label, so a missed day looks different from a critical one without relying on colour alone. A gap checker also lists what could hold back payment: a visit not sent, a scan not logged, or a sign-up not done.

Rates and rule sets can change, so SugboDoc's settings keep them editable, with the PhilHealth reference shown beside each rule.
